Linton Incorporated (formerly Linton Commercial Co., Inc.) was established in October 1954 as a single proprietorship, with Mr. Lim Ka Thong at the helm. The company began with the importation of flat steel products such as hot and cold rolled plates and coils as well as galvanized sheets, with the main objective of supplying these to the booming construction industry.

The succeeding years saw the company’s growth and expansion of its product line-up to include such items as H-Beams, channels, angles, and pipes. With its years of expertise, the company has played a major role in the flourishing of the local steel industry.

Linton Incorporated does more than just import and distribute steel products nationwide. It has also invested in various machineries and equipment to be able to serve its clients better, faster.

With these allied investments, the company has also become a steel service center capable of shearing and slitting steel sheets and coils, bending and forming various steel profiles. Taking it one step further, Linton Incorporated created a wholly-owned subsidiary (a one-stop shop of sorts) with a focus on servicing steel fabrication and structural steelwork erection for its clients.
