History of Ebara Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd

Ebara Corporation started operation in Singapore with a branch office in the early 1980s. Ebara Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd was registered officially in 1983 and started operation at Hong Leong Building. The office was then moved to Forum Galleria at Orchard Road in 1987. Operation is expanded and office was relocated to 67 Tuas Avenue 1 in 1991. Finally the office was relocated to bigger premises at No 1 Tuas Link 2 which houses the services factory and other facilities in 1996. Activities and operation grew and capacity and ability to service and handling of Ebara pump grew.

Presently Ebara Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd started with custom related products and system engineering support service to customer.

Precision machinery products started in early 1992 with the aim to service the growing semiconductor industry. It has since grown from a small section to a full division with remanufacturing facilities.

Ebara Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd will continue supporting dealers, distributors and customers in Singapore and regionally. Operation in Singapore plays a major role in supporting and meeting most of pumping equipment requirement in Singapore.

Profile & Objectives

Ebara Engineering Singapore is a complete subsidiary of Ebara Corporation Japan and operates under Fluid Machinery Division and Precision Machinery Division of Ebara Corporation. The operation in Singapore is also structured according to these two clear divisions. The Core product of Ebara Corporation is based on centrifugal pump which contributed highly to the activities here in Singapore. Engineering projects related to water and waste water was also feature in activities under fluid machinery group of Ebara Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd.
