PHILSME Expands Platform with MSME and Franchise Villages at 18th Expo

Published:

Manila, Philippines — The PHILSME Business Expo & Conference is expanding its structural platform at the 18th edition through the launch of the MSME Village Powered by Advocacy Partners, allocating sponsored exhibit placements to selected micro enterprises.

Set for May 22–23, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, the expo will occupy two halls and host 190 exhibitors, 260 business solutions, and more than 12,000 expected visitors.

Under this model, PHILSME will reserve advocacy-supported placements for chosen MSMEs—embedding grassroots representation within the core expo environment. The expanded Franchise Village returns in response to sustained market interest in franchising as a scalable pathway for business growth, reinforcing PHILSME’s role in connecting founders to structured expansion opportunities.

“This is not an add-on initiative—it is built into our platform architecture,” said CEO and Managing Director Trixie Esguerra-Abrenilla. “Strengthening the SME ecosystem requires deliberate inclusion of micro enterprises, alongside scalable models like franchising, within one integrated marketplace.”

The 18th PHILSME also marks the launch of the PHILSME Business Magazine, extending exhibitor and partner visibility beyond the two-day event.
